Hearing tests at Back to Hearing are not covered by OHIP. However, we offer complimentary hearing tests for patients aged 60 and over, and complimentary hearing aid consultations for all patients. Many private insurance plans also cover hearing assessments, we recommend checking your benefits before your appointment.

After eligible ADP grants, hearing aids at Back to Hearing range from approximately $1,750 to $3,000 per side depending on technology level and style. We offer a complimentary hearing aid consultation so you can explore your options with no pressure and no obligation.

Many private insurance plans provide partial or full coverage for hearing aids. Ontario residents may also qualify for funding through the Assistive Devices Program (ADP).

A full hearing assessment at our clinic typically takes about 60 minutes. This includes a case history review, a comprehensive hearing evaluation, and a discussion of your results with our hearing care provider.
